Deposit rules

Register on the RealAuction site (877-361-7325 / customerservice@realauction.com). Tax-sale payments are by wire transfer only via RealAuction; deposit amount and cleared-funds deadline are posted on the platform per sale. Obtain any required written statement of no delinquent taxes from the Tax Office before a deed can issue (Texas Tax Code §34.015).

Title risk

Liens that survive the sale
HOA/POA liens can survive a Texas tax sale if the association recorded its lien and was not properly joined/notified in the foreclosure suit. Federal tax liens survive (IRS rights). Post-judgment taxes and unjoined municipal liens may also remain — search deed records before bidding.
Quiet title
Not legally mandatory, but title companies generally require a completed suit to quiet title before insuring, because of statutory redemption rights and possible un-joined lienholders.
